Brogues are leather shoes with decorative perforation — the punched pattern along seams and, on a wingtip, the W-shaped toe cap. Historically the holes helped water drain from country shoes. Today they are a style signal: more texture, more weekend, still a proper leather shoe.
A British-style brogue can be built on a derby or oxford last. YoyooBlue brogues lean casual: visible stitching, oak or espresso leather, and a last meant for walking rather than parade. We describe perforation and silhouette only; we do not invent a welt type on this page.
