On YoyooBlue shoes, stitching is part of the design, not only a hidden join. Thread sits on the apron, quarter, or sole line so the last reads as made rather than moulded.
What “hand-stitched” means here
It means the construction leaves visible, deliberate stitches. Some of those stitches may be placed by hand; others may be guided by a machine. We do not claim every pair is fully handmade unless a product page says so.
Why the stitches stay visible
Hidden seams can look cleaner on a dress shoe. Visible thread is a British-workshop cue: you see how the upper was closed. It also makes small repairs easier to read later.
What it is not
Visible stitching is not the same as a named welt (Goodyear, Blake, Norwegian). Those methods are only listed when we have them in the product data.
